Picking Wild Berries
Price: ISK 8.000 per person - pick-up for free.
Mountain Climbing offers guided berry picking tours in the nature closest to Reykjavik. The duration of the tour is approximately 3-4 hours. During the tour you will get a plastic box to put your wild Crowberries and Blueberries in.
We drive to a place or places in the Reykjavik area where we can find some berries to pick. There you can taste the fresh berries and pick into your box. You will also get some Icelandic recipes at the end of the tour.
The price of the tour is ISK 8.000 per person, a minimum of 2 persons. Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel is for free. Pisk-up is at 9.30am or 1.30pm. Evening departures available.
The Christmas Village and Christmas markets in Iceland
Let's join the tours to the one and only Christmas Village in Iceland. The tours are available during weekends from the end of November till December 2011.
We drive through the most beautiful decorated streets on our way and see how the Icelandic families have decorated their houses and gardens. We visit briefly the most famous Christmas market in the outskirt of Reykjavik and then we proceed to the one and only Christmas Village in Iceland, only 15 minutes away from Reykjavik.
During the tour we visit the most famous Christmas market in Reykjavik and the one and only Christmas Village in Iceland situated in the town Hafnarfjordur. During the tour we visit both indoor and outdoor markets. In the Christmas Village we enjoy live entertainment on the market stage (free of charge) and see how the Icelandic families celebrate Christmas. We also visit the boutiques and galleries in town.
At the end you can have some free time before heading back.
Price in 2011: ISK 8.000 per person. Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel is free of charge. Estimated duration 3 hours.
Pick-up starts at 1.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Mountain Climbing offers guided tours to the geothermal area Krysuvik, only 40-45 minutes away from Reykjavik. Estimated duration is 3 hours, pick-up included. Price is 60 Euros per person or ISK 9.950 per person. In this tour we visit the most active geothermal area in Iceland. These tours are available every day according to your wishes. Northern lights tour
